A moving company with nothing to leave behind
ARES meets customers in person all day — at their door, in their driveway, in the middle of a move. Every one of those conversations ended the same way: a phone number typed into someone’s notes app.
The problem
A moving business runs on face-to-face contact. Daniel and his partner spend the day meeting people: estimates, walkthroughs, the job itself. Every one of those is a chance to be called again.
But there was nothing to hand over. A number dictated out loud and typed into a notes app, competing with every other number in there. No name attached, no company, no way back to them a month later when the customer finally moves.
What we built
A digital business card that lands properly in the customer’s phone, with no app and nothing to type.
- One tap to call, one to email. No copying a number across, no typos.
- Save the contact as a real vCard. Name, company, phone and email go into the phone’s address book — so a month later, searching "ARES" finds them.
- A QR code for handing it over in person. The customer points their camera and it opens. That is the whole exchange.
- One for each partner. Daniel has his and his business partner Julio has his own, so whoever is standing there can hand over their card.
The result
The contact lands in the customer’s phone the way a contact should — with a name and a company attached, not as an orphan number. From a QR code across a driveway or a link over WhatsApp.
It is the smallest thing we have built, and it does one job completely: when the customer is finally ready to move, ARES is findable in their phone.
